Producers Kasper van Beek and Isidoor Roebers started Fonk Film while studying at the Dutch Film Academy. They combined their talents and produced features, shorts, music videos, branded content and TV pilots. The duo graduated in 2014, but are still closely connected to the talent of the Film Academy, allowing them to ensure a cinematic style for a sharp budget.
Apart from working for local clients, they’re proud to do more and more service producing projects for international companies like CNN, Vimeo and Bloomberg to help arrange their shoot in The Netherlands.
Furthermore, Fonk Film has combined their powers with NL Film & TV, which let them to create Totem Media. A production company solely focused on television & web formats, from scripted to non-scripted storytelling.
Kasper and Isidoor are not only business partners but they are also good friends who each have their own individual story and skills to bring to the table. They are 2 distinct guys going after the same goal.
He grew up in Amsterdam, where he started to make films at a very young age. After studying film in America for six months, he worked full time for two years as production manager of commercials. When he went back to study, he got the chance to finish the Film Academy as the first Creative Producer ever in 2014. During his study he produced an English feature film and wrote and directed short films and commercials himself.
After graduating he was production manager for the feature film ‘Homies’ and the television series ‘Bureau Raampoort’ and ‘Rundfunk’. But he is most of all, always on the look out for new ideas.
Born and raised in a beautiful part of Holland – Friesland. He moved to Amsterdam when
he was 18 years old, feeling at home from the very beginning. He studied Media and Entertainment Management at the Stenden University and finished the Dutch Film Academy as a producer in 2014.
He follows his passion for entrepreneurship, next to his love for film, and is exploring possibilities to change the media landscape. Not only in The Netherlands, but also abroad. His international work for Fortissimo Film Sales has only encouraged this view, besides his unbridled enthusiasm.
